Why do dogs whine?Stop Dog Whining

That is a good question, one that has many answers. Some breeds of dogs,in particular "lap dogs" and "toy" breeds crave lots of attention from you.Others are just throwing a doggie hissy fit because they aren't getting their way.Sounds like kids doesn't it?But don't think that only small dogs whine, big dogs do as well. They are usually louder.

Not all whining is bad.Sometimes dogs whine because they are in pain of some type and need your help.It is their version of moaning and groaning. If you determine that they are whining from pain,by all means get him to the vet soon. His whining could literally save his life. But most whining is due to behavioral issues or lack of training.

To figure out why he is whining you are going to have to play detective. When does he whine? Is it when he is outside alone?Or when he figures out that you are going somewhere, probably without him?Could it be that he wants to go for walk?Needs to go to the bathroom?Maybe he justs wants a bite of your pizza...it smells so good you know!

Some dogs whine when they are excited and think that they are missing out on some fun.I can understand, who wants to be left behind all the time. Not me!

But this can be really annoying.Everytime you pick up your car keys does not mean"Go For a Ride".Nor does the word walk(which they some how can magically spell) means time to go for a walk. This is where conditioning and desensitizing your dog to these"clues" comes into play.

Stop Your Dog's Whining Problem Quickly-Go Here To Find Out How...

A lot of the time your dog is trying to get your attention simply because he misses you.He is saying"Hey,you go to work early in the morning ,I don't see you all day,you come home all grumpy yelling at me and what did I do?I waited here all day being a good boy and all I want is a little bit of love and undivided attention from you.Is that too much to ask."

Try to think about it from his perspective. He depends on you for everything, food, water, bathroom, shots from the vet.Whining gets you to pay him attention. So the next time he whines do two things.Try to figure out why and give love and attention. That is why you got him right? Some one to love that loves you back.
