Stopping a dog from digging when they live for it, is hard.For your dog,digging can be
the coolest thing in the world and loads of fun.Some dogs are just bored or lonely. They may need more play time
with you or other dogs.Dogs that are not fixed,may try digging to escape to find a mate.Whatever
the reason ,it is a problem that you will have to solve unless you like holes in your yard.
It is in a dogs nature to dig.They like to dig in freshly dug dirt like gardens and

water and your problem may solve itself.
Another thing you could try is to take a can, put a handful of pebbles in it,tape off the opening so that the
pebbles will rattle inside.When you catch your dog in the act throw the can down near your dog.This should startle
him enough to interrupt his digging. Be unpredictible when trying this method as your dog would eventually tune out
the noise and keep digging.
